WebNov 25, 2013 · A few months later when I tried to overclock the 3570k again, It seems that my V Gene mobo has developed some sort of "memory" that wont allow me to pass 42. I can type in 41,40,39,38 etc and all of the cores will switch to the number I imput. When I type 43,44,45 etc they all revert back to 42 tops, like if its locked.
