After many hours of trying and failing, I managed to resolve the problem by uninstalling everything to do with the sims 3, then re installing it. However when I did this I couldn't get the launcher to open so I decided to manually update the game to the latest version and it worked! Webb15 feb. 2014 · Solution. Make sure you’re patched to the newest version. Save file corrupts many downloads. Use Add to game instead. Rename sims3pack files that contain special characters. Convert sims3packs into package files (not for Store-Stuff) and put them in the mods folder. Don’t use the download.
