It shows that to run sacct on the head node, one needs both the control daemon and database daemon running simultaneously. That is not possible if their ports overlap. As a workaround, in our post installation script, I switch the control port range to 6820 to 6830 to not conflict with the database daemon

WebJun 2, 2015 · It's a "parent" array job, followed by 100 child array jobs with indexes 1-100. In both cases, sacct seems to be mangling the "parent" array jobs by doing some weird collapsing with non-existent indexes. I'm not sure what a "parent" array job is exactly. An example of a "good" array job display with sacct (2477715) has no "parent" job. WebThe scancel command allows you to cancel jobs you are running on Research Computing resources using the job’s ID. The command looks like this: $ scancel your_job-id. To cancel multiple jobs, you can use a comma-separated list of job IDs: $ scancel your_job-id1, your_job-id2, your_jobiid3.
