Left speaker blew on my 2016 15-inch after 15 days, new top case fitted and my 2024 after 14 months, being in Australia we have extended warranty via Consumer Law so no problem. Both times I wasn’t actually playing any sounds. First one was the empty trash sound that casused the noise. Web11 apr. 2024 · Have a 2024 Mac Book pro 15 with touch bar. Yesterday my left speaker was blown out (no bootcamp installed). I opened up the macbook (the volume was set at ~20%), and after dragging a youtube tab to a secondary monitor and pressing play the left speaker started producing a lout crackling noise (like electricity) for about 15 seconds. WebI *really* want to see the flow of audio in macOS, and the changes in gain/amplitude along the way. If I use the test osc plugin in Logic Pro X, running thru a specific CoreAudio driver, I can succesfully manage keeping a consistent gain structure all the way thru my mixer, using Apple supplied Class-Compliant driver. 0db sine wave is exactly that all the way thru.
