Generally if you have a sensor problem, it will cause the trans to shift high and hard. The exception is if the FIPL sensor is adjusted too low. There is also a product called a "pressure riser" which splices into the trans pressure control wiring and can be used to adjust line pressure up.

After having to pay 3 core return fees I decided to just live with the 2-3 harsh shifts and let up on the accelerator. My F150 shifts hard from first to second, the vss in the rear differential was broke off, so i recently replaced it thinking that it would fix the problem. It did not. WebAug 5, 2008 · Here is what we have for pressure with the harness plugged in. Park 90 psi. Reverse goes from 90 to 180 then engauges harsh and drops to 150 psi. Nuetral 90 psi. Drive goes from 90 to 60 then engauges nicely and back to 90 psi. Second 90 psi. First 120 psi. With the harness unplugged the pressure is 180 psi.
